Special Guests

We encourage a broad range of visitors to the school to give children an opportunity to learn from 'experts' in their community and beyond.  Last year we had the privilege of welcoming the following visitors to Springfield

• Vera Cemeron, grandparent interview re 1930’s childhood
• G Sutherland – Teach and facilitate composing garage band music on an Apple Mac
• PC Bob – local community police officer
• School nurse
• Tayside Road Safety Team

Other Visitors to the school included international visitors from India, USA, Serbia and  Mexico to talk about their childhood experiences in other lands.

2008 Fees

School 2007/8 academic year - £2,800 per child.

This fee reduced by 10% for the second child from the same family, and 20% for the third child from the same family.

• 1st child £2,800 per year, paid monthly instalments of £233.33
• 2nd child £2,520 per year, paid monthly instalments of £210.00
• 3rd child £2,240 per year, paid monthly instalments of £186.66

Nursery 2008

Nursery fees are sessionally based at £11.00 per session less Dundee CityCouncil funding where appropriate. Some reduced fee places may be available and requests for information on this can be made to Gillian Ellis, Trustee c/o Springfield School.
