What a fantastic time Y5 have had celebrating Book Week!

We have been having some time in class to 'Read for Pleasure'. We have had occasions when we have 'Dropped Everything And Read' (READ). Even the teacher was quietly reading.

We were visited by a guest reader (Mr Lever) who inspired us with his favourite book. 

Y5 also visited the local Waterstones bookshop to exchange their Book Week tokens, choosing books to read at home. Some children have kindly since swapped their books, in class, with others, so they can read as many of the offered books as possible.
