Class: Year Five Year: 2025 - 2026

A group of students from the school of English at the University of Sheffield performed an interactive, immersive workshop for our Y5 and Y6 children on, 'The Great Sheffield Flood' of 1864.  The piece took the form of a courtroom drama with our children acting as the jury/ relief committee.  They created soundscapes, took part in scenes and decided who deserved compensation.  An exciting afternoon spent exploring themes of resilience, community and the lessons learned. .
